Thanks for this. I've owned ableton for a long time. I've finally found what seems to be a permanent place to set up my gear. All the little things you explained in this video(in plain English) are very helpful getting started again. As you said, there is a bit of a learning curve. So plain English instructions with real world examples, make it much easier to absorb.

So glad i saw this before i cracked trying to figure that out. Just wanted my guitar to get picked up by Ableton and have a bit of a beat to play with, maybe loop and even save. Big help ya!

I have the Helix and the 212 plus and it sounds like crap no matter what I do dose't matter how I build my presets or how much out put to the cab I send it sounds tinny and jusrt lousy over all don't know what I am doing wring

It doesn't sound like this even has those cheap, fizzy artifacts that always plague these types of processors. Or does it? Bcoz that's definitely a deal breaker for me.

where in the chain would you put ta compresser, noise gate and EQ?

I have the Helix Floor had it for only a few weeks then yesterday I got the Line 6 212 Plus power cab I don't know if I should add a cab (S) to the chain or not in Flat stereo mode any suggestions Chaf?

Hiya, thanks so much for this, it totally opens up my Pod Go. I bought a Lany FS-2 Mini after watching this (because it has a status light), however I'm having to click the switch twice to change the parameters. This is annoying as it will be awkward live, but also it means the second press also turns off the status light. Any advice out there? Have I just go the wrong type of switch? Thanks

I know a real 50w JCM800 through a 4x12 sounds incredible in person. Maybe they just had a suboptimal model the first go. You'd think they would want to nail it out of the box, though. At least they fixed it!

Hi Chad do you think the 212 feels as a real 212 cab? AITR? also what about the speaker sims? Ive read they sound muffled but at high volume and with a good EQ increase on certain frecuencies it sounds amazing, can you confirm?

Hello Chad, I have a situation with my Variax James Tyler, for some reason I only can the guitar's models with my POD, when I use my guitar with a regular cable and I want to use a modulation, it just get mute, do you know about this issue?

2 years have passed since this video and nothing has changed, I don't think line6 will make other Variax models, to tell the truth I was hoping for some updates but they won't. Now I have it and I use it live as a backup, but to date I don't think it's worth buying unless there is a good used one with a really low price.

Is there a way to just assign 3 different presets to each of the 3 buttons and just switch between those?

is the screen big enough on a Pod Go to compensate for no scribble strips (I assume you can put the same customizable labels in the squares on the screen)?

I'm a huge fan of the g3n and g1four and have been awaiting new versions that address the very minor problems... so it boggles my mind to discover that they haven't ditched the scrolling idea. Along with the g6 disaster I'm wondering whether zoom just randomly make r & d decisions and just got lucky with the huge success of the g3n and g5n.

Watched this series and it's great because you made things so clear. I've had the Pod Go, and sort of guessed my way around, tried to watch other videos and they mostly assume you already know an effects chain. This was the first time it all really made sense to me. Do you have a video dedicated to understanding the correct levels of the in and out volume in a chain in the preset that explains in detail how to set the level of ins and outs so that the signal does not appear red or very weak?

Does the 69 sound more like a strat than the 59, or doesn't it matter?
